Servo-Flex®
About Servo-Flex

We built it for our own floor first.

Servo-Flex is a Belgian company that grew out of AFP Usinage — a precision CNC workshop that got tired of stopping its robots to change jaws.

Born from real production.

Servo-Flex did not start as a product idea. It started at AFP Usinage, our precision CNC machining workshop in Belgium, where we automate our own parts every day. We didn't read about the friction of robot cells — we lived it on our own floor.

We felt the cost of jaw changes.

Every new part meant stopping the cell, swapping jaws, re-teaching and testing. The robot that should have run all night sat waiting. Setup time piled up, errors crept in, and a heavy gripper stole payload we were paying for but could not use.

We chose simplicity.

The fix wasn't a faster robot or more software. It was a simpler gripping strategy: one flexible gripper that covers the range, keeps the robot light, and never drops a part. When we could not buy it, we engineered it.

What we believe

The philosophy behind the product

Field-tested, not lab-only

Every design decision is validated on real cells and real parts — the standard of a working shop, not a demo.

Simplicity is the feature

Fewer references, fewer interventions, fewer ways to fail. Flexibility should make a cell simpler, not more complex.

Engineered in Belgium

Designed and built to an industrial standard, with the precision culture of a machining workshop behind it.

Protected by patent

Our mechanical clamping system is patent pending — a defensible advantage that powers the safety and flexibility.

Our vision

To make flexible gripping the default — so robot cells adapt to the work instead of the work adapting to them. We want Servo-Flex to be the standard for flexible servo-electric gripping worldwide.
